This is my first assignment in Budapest. Before, I was sent to Canberra for study, on a scholarship from the Australia Government.

Attended various international meeting in the issues of borders and security. Wrote several articles for Indonesia newspapers, on various issues from international affairs to religion doctrine.

1. When did you arrive in Hungary and what brought you here?

I arrived in Budapest on April 11, 2009, job brought me here and I am glad for it!

2. Have you ever been an expatriate elsewhere?
Well, my office send me to Canberra for Master degree, it was scholarship from Australia Government. I lived in Canberra for 1 year and a month.

3. What surprised you most about Hungary?
The city looking like a picture from a movie. Don't be offended, it is small in terms of size but absolutely beautiful! And the old buildings… Wow!

4. Friends are in Budapest for a weekend - what must they absolutely see and do?
Going to Buda castle and Aqua World Ramada Hotel. Is this part -'Aqua World'- something you didn't expect as answer?

5. What is your favouriteHungarian food?
Its desserts, all of it.

6. What is never missing from your refrigerator?
Ham

7. What is your favouriteHungarian word?
Nulla (zero)

8. What do you miss the most from home?
My mother and sisters

9. What career other thanyours would you love to pursue?
Own newspaper business

10. What's a job you would definitely never want?
People who work needs appreciation, all job is important including housewife.

11. Where did you spend your last vacation?
Touring around Europe (France, Madrid, Swiss, London)

12. Where do you hope to spend your next one?
Madrid, to attend the wedding of my friend.

13. What was your favourite band, film, or hobby as a teen?
I like movie title 'Life is beautiful'. Forband, I can't recall which one I like.

14. What can't you resist?
Almost everything that I want, I just need to have :)

15. Red wine or white?
Red wine

16. Book or movie?
Both! You can not compare the two, for instance: Interview with Vampire is so much better in the movie! But the movie 'Twilight' is a bit disappointed. You get more out of 'Twilight' if you read the book.

17. Morning person or night person?
Morning person

18. Which social issue do you feel most strongly about?
Criminalization against woman and children.

19. Buda side or Pest side?
Buda. But now, I live in Pest and I love it.

20. What would you say isyour personal motto?
God is with us.
