In 2013, we had the opportunity to hear Haydn‘s oratorio The Seasons with Helmuth Rilling, while on the first day of 2014 the work will be presented by another world-renowned conductor in the shape of René Jacobs.

The Hungarian State Folk Ensemble is touring the United States; there will be a concert to help elderly musicians who are stewards of traditions; a new full-size program featuring dances from Sub-Carpathia will be compiled; and decision has been made to expand the Museum of Applied Folk Art. We have interviewed László Kelemen, director-general of the Hungarian Heritage House in Budapest.
