The media authority NMHH yesterday withdrew the broadcasting rights of radio station Neo FM, although it has no right to do so, owner FM1 Kommunikációs said. The company sought bankruptcy protection on Tuesday, meaning that the NMHH has no rights to cancel its contract, FM1 argued.

The film “Gipsy Way” by director László Pesty generated protests from individuals and organisations after it was broadcast on state television channel M1.

The mayor of Saint Petersburg has cancelled a 2011 contract between the city and Hungarian property developer TriGránit on building a cultural centre in the city, Napi Gazdaság reports. The city does not intend to pay compensation for the cancelled project of about $600 million, the daily added.
