Hungary’s Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music will host an international competition and festival in September 2017 to mark the 135th birth anniversary of Béla Bartók. Andrea Vigh, the academy’s director, told a press conference on Tuesday that the global event would be the first in a series, involving a competition for composers and a musical symposium.
