Magnum Contact Sheets is a major new touring exhibition produced by Magnum Photos in collaboration with Forte di Bard, where the show was presented for the first time in June 2013 before touring worldwide. The show is taking the contact sheet as the basis for an exploration into the creative process behind some of the world’s most iconic photographs from the Magnum Photos agency.

Saint Margaret’s Anglican Episcopal Church was founded in Hungary in 1992 by the Rev. Canon Denis Moss, a New Zealander with British roots married to a Hungarian. Canon Dennis retired in 2011, and the church has been under the leadership of Father Frank since then.

Hungary will organise a film week again this year, Ágnes Havas, head of the Hungarian National Film Fund, told the US entertainment website variety.com. Hungarian Film Week was last held in 2012 and has been facing funding problems for years.

Hungarian director Kornél Mundruczó’s film White God is one of the ten titles selected for the European Parliament’s LUX Prize. The ten films have been chosen by LUX Prize Selection Panel as showcasing the richness, diversity and excellence of European cinema, the release said.

Plants rather than bricks are the order of the day for Lego at its factory in Nyíregyháza in eastern Hungary. The eponymous plastic brick producer is planting indigenous species on a 26-hectare area within its premises with the aim of conserving unique and endangered wildlife, Lego told MTI.
