The artist mainly aimed at “pear-head” Louis-Philippe, the Citizen King, but also parodied politicians and members of parliament who were in his service. Hungarian Court Broadens Definition Of Family

The Constitutional Court struck down provisions on the notion of family and inheritance law in the act on family protection on Monday. The court established that certain provisions contravene the Basic Law. It found that the act on family law defined family too narrowly as the marriage of one man and one woman only.

November is a time to remember those who have gone before. In Hungary, Imagefamilies visit cemeteries, leave wreaths and flowers, light candles and talk about loved ones they’ve lost. For me, it’s a time to think about Hungarians whose lives were lived in the shadow of war, fascism, communism or poverty, and I am once again grateful to have grown up in peace, freedom and prosperity.

In 2009 tender funds granted by the National Cultural Foundation enabled the urgently needed preservation work for the sheets.
