Seeing an attractive gap in the market, the low-cost-carrier (LCC) will be connecting Budapest to Venice Marco Polo Airport – the city’s main airport – with a thrice-weekly service from 31 October.

A series of protests and clashes with police culminated with a gathering of 2,000 people who rallied Wednesday evening to protest against the construction of a Museum Quarter in Budapest’s City Park. Police cut the chains of protesters who had chained themselves to buildings and trees. Police also found evidence of marijuana use and launched criminal proceedings.
