Wayward Bus Leaves Wizz Air Passengers Stranded in Dubai and Budapest
Hundreds of Wizz Air passengers were left stranded in Dubai and others in Budapest on Friday after a bus driver ferried passengers from the terminal to the wrong plane at Liszt Ferenc airport.

Passengers boarded the plane, which was headed to Tirana, not Dubai. By the time they could be disembarked and taken to their designated aircraft, the flight crew’s allotted work time would have expired.

As a result, Wizz Air postponed its Friday afternoon flight to Dubai, leaving passengers waiting to fly to Budapest also stranded.
More than two hundred passengers were left at the Dubai airport for a day.

Wizz Air said it provided help to the passengers stuck in Budapest and Dubai, and apologised for the inconvenience.
