The tide of toxic red mud burst through the walls of a giant storage reservoir at an alumina refinery in Hungary, and hundreds of families lost their homes, some families even lost loved ones. The InterContinental Budapest organized their fund raising effort in cooperation with the Hungarian Red Cross to help the victims. For a couple of fun hours XpatLoop.com readers and clients enjoyed five different tastes from the superb selection presented by the Tokaj based Béres Winery. Many guests stayed on later than the official event closing time, which is always a good sign of a successful event.

Mr Melles has been the Country Manager in Hungary for Air France KLM since August 2009. Originally from Székesfehérvár, he was born on 5 January, and attended the Teleki Blanka Gimnazium until 1998. He went on to read Business Studies at the International Business School in Budapest. He then starting his fast-track career with Nestle in the summer of 2002.
