Trailer: Silent Friend Wins Best Film at 45th Hungarian Film Week
Renowned director Ildiko Enyedi's latest film, Silent Friend, won the prize for best film at the 45th Hungarian Film Week, as well as the awards for best cinematography and editing, the organisers said late on Sunday, the last day of the festival.

Cinematographer Janos Kende received the lifetime achievement award, and producer Monika Mecs was named best producer for her work on Silent Friend and Bence Fliegauf's Jimmy Jaguar.

Balint Daniel Sos was awarded best director of a feature film for Growing Down, and Laszlo Nemes Jeles for the best screenplay for The Orphan.

Szabolcs Hajdu received the award for best male lead for his performance in Growing Down and Andrea Waskovics that of best female lead for her roles in The Orphan and Growing Down.

The festival held in Budapest between Feb 5 and 8 drew some 20,000 viewers and screened nearly 300 films.
