The government will spend 65 billion forints (EUR 201m) more on cultural projects in 2017 than last year, the prime minister said on Wednesday. Addressing a gala dinner in honour of recipients of the Kossuth Prize on Hungary’s March 15 national holiday, Viktor Orbán said that the country’s new economic model was working well and could ensure the necessary funds.
