How Could Hungary Have a 'Good Chance' to Host Next Olympics?

Fürjes said Hungary had demonstrated it was capable of organizing an Olympics like the one that closed in Paris on Sunday by hosting a number of European and world championships over the past 7-8 years.
“It would take a huge effort, but the most important thing would be establishing a comprehensive cooperation, and that’s why I’m a bit skeptical,” he added.
Fürjes said the context allowing for “full agreement” between the Hungarian Olympic Committee, the mayor and municipal council of Budapest, the political right and left wings, the government, and the nation as a whole was “not yet apparent.”
He suggested that if the sides could “put aside their differences” on the matter, allowing for the establishment of a consensus, Hungary would have a good chance to make an effort to host the next Olympics in Europe.
