The law tabled by Fidesz’s parliamentary leader Antal Rogán passed in a vote of 298 to 7 with 5 abstentions. Under the law, the price of gas will fall by 6.5% from April while the price of electricity will be cut by 5.7% from September. District heating will be cut by 3.3% from October this year.
