Chef Tamas Szell of Budapest’s Onyx restaurant finished tenth in the biennial Bocuse d'Or world cooking contest in Lyon, France. France came out the winner, ahead of Denmark and Japan. A poster by Szell won the best poster prize based on votes cast by the audience.

Minister for Rural Development Sándor Fazekas presented the accolade to the winner of the Hungarian Landscape Award competition, the Tata-based Által Brook Catchment Area Restoration and Development Association, at a ceremony in Tata on Friday.
