Diners who enjoy discovering new restaurants in Budapest will want to take advantage of 'TableFree Éttermi Napok', which will run from March 6 until March 12. The event features more than 50 of Budapest’s top restaurants, all offering unique three-course menus priced at either HUF 3,000 or 5,000.

IMF external relations director Gerry Rice firmly rejected reports that the IMF plans to close its Budapest office, at a press briefing in Washington on Thursday. Mihály Varga, the minister without portfolio in charge of IMF negotiations, responded to the rumour by saying the cabinet had not received any official notification from the IMF.
