Hungarian Gov’t Rolling Out New Ad Campaign
The government will spend Ft 500 million on an advertising campaign to promote its achievements, starting this week, spokesman András Giró-Szász told reporters on Monday. The campaign of leaflets, billboards and other outdoor media will proclaim the message that “Hungary is Doing Better”.

Giró-Szász said the nation is performing better “in both space and time” as employment, state debt and budget deficit indices are better than in the past.

IMG Inter Media Group has been selected to implement the campaign through a public procurement tender.

The company has signed a Ft 550 million contract, which can be extended by a further Ft 450 million.

The majority owner of IMG is Péter Patonai, who was head of the state development bank MFB during the first Orbán cabinet, Népszabadság adds.
