Hurts, Nero And Modestep Coming To VOLT Festival In Hungary

With new names added to the line-up there are more than twenty international stars playing at the 22nd VOLT Festival this summer. Due to a huge demand Hurts will return this year to Sopron, while thousands are eagerly waiting for the live shows of Nero and Modestep as well. Karnivool, the chart topping Milky Chance and The Strypes – opening for the Arctic Monkeys - are also part of the program.

American chart-breaking electronic rock band, AWOLNATION is rocking in Budapest on 15 August at Zöld Pardon, one of the most popular open-air venues of the Hungarian capital city. Around 250 guests, including notable local celebrities from television, film, and media, attended the "VIP" opening event on August 25th. The event was covered by Hungarian National TV and press. The restaurant opened to the public this Monday, August 27th, with 56 of the ‘world famous’ Hooters Girls in attendance to welcome and serve customers.
Károly Gerendai Purchases Sziget From Est In Hungary

After Est Media failed to find a financial investor, the majority shareholders of Sziget led by founder and CEO Károly Gerendai will purchase 49% of Est Media’s 51% stake in the festival organising company. The purchase price is Ft 675 million, exactly the sum that Est Media owes to creditors UniCredit bank and Wallis. The stake in Sziget was the collateral offered on these loans.
