Hundreds Of Thousands Celebrated The Anniversary Of The Foundation Of The State In Budapest

In the evening of 20 August, the day that marks the anniversary of the foundation of the Hungarian State, more than half a million people watched the ceremonial fireworks display held on the Danube Banks. The ceremonial events attracted much attention and were held in high spirits; thousands of tourists were able to share the festive atmosphere of one of Hungary’s greatest national holidays.

One hundred and twenty young people are attending the summer camp ReGeneration organised by the Ministry of Public Administration and Justice at Lake Balaton. The camp is being organised this year for the second time for university students who are interested in public services, public administration, politics and the work of the government.
