"In 1974, more than 100 years after the it was founded, the Museum of Ethnography began a move that took several years, into the building of the Hungarian National Gallery - originally the Palace of Justice, the palace of the Hungarian supreme court. The elegant court building had been remodelled for museum use in the 1950s, starting with a complete redesign of its interior spaces.

"The British Embassy together with the Raoul Wallenberg Association organised a ceremony on 15 October at which a plaque was unveiled commemorating the courageous efforts of Raoul Wallenberg. The Swedish diplomat gave shelter for Hungarian Jews in the building of the British Embassy (Hazai Bank at that time).

On the evening of Wednesday 22 September around 500 formally dressed guests attended the official opening ceremony of the Continental Hotel Zara in Budapest. This listed-building has recently received Euro 50 million worth of renovations to create a blend of art nouveau; art deco and modern design, all of which still manages to respect the tradition of the first baths built on this site in 1827.

Dave has appeared in three feature films. He played Dave the comedian in ‘Maybe Baby’, written and directed by Ben Elton, and a porn star in ‘I Want Candy’, directed by Stephen Surgit (sadly his scene didn’t make the final edit). Dave’s third film ‘Huge’, was directed by Ben Miller, and will soon be on general release.
