All Fidesz and Christian Democrat MPs signed the form to nominate Fidesz MEP János Áder to the post of head of state, which was officially submitted yesterday. The lone exception was Regional Development Minister Sándor Fazekas, who is abroad. Other nominations are possible by 8 a.m. Friday, but none are expected. Parliament will elect the new president at 10 a.m. on May 2.
