Goalkeeper Gábor Király, aged 40, announced on his website that he is retiring from Hungary’s national eleven after a record 107 matches. Király, famous for playing in grey tracksuit bottoms, joined the national team in 1998. He was the goalkeeper of the Hungarian team in all four matches during the Euro 2016 championships this June.

Ride-hailing service Uber says that although its services in Hungary are being suspended indefinitely from July 24, the company intends to continue working with decision makers on amending passenger transport regulations. If regulations change – which would be up to lawmakers – Uber could resume its operations.

Unless the level of development of the country’s economy reaches the European average, the move could be detrimental, he said. Mihály Varga said in an interview: “We can have the euro, but we won’t for the time being.”
