When there’s something he believes I haven’t tasted, nor heard of, he makes sure I’ll get the chance. Recently he provided me with something he was pretty sure I didn’t know about. Kadarka. The best ever on the grape as he said.
Bear Prowls Around In Balassagyarmat, Hungary

Paw prints in the snow indicate that a bear is roaming around the outskirts of Balassagyarmat, north of Budapest, chief hunter Tamás Major said yesterday. Major said this bear is not hibernating and was probably disturbed by the noises that go with wild boar hunting in nearby Slovakia.

The Capital Court of Appeals has ordered HírTV to broadcast a correction in the matter of the plagiarism charge related to former prime minister Ferenc Gyurcsány. The court ruled that HírTV created the false impression in its “Célpont” programme aired on May 4, 2012 that Gyurcsány had received a university degree despite failing to meet his teaching practice duties.

Police caught a 42-year-old woman on Tuesday who had threatened to blow up several tax offices. The woman was arrested on Ferenc körút in the Ninth District shortly after she made phone calls from a public phone booth threatening several state institutions.
