A house collapsed in Budapest, leaving injured people trapped under the rubble. Several trolleybuses and trams did not run as their overhead cables were damaged in the storm.

Spokesman Máté Kisdi said that in most cases disaster response personnel had to provide assistance because of flooded underpasses and cellars. Fire-fighters had to save a car from one metre of water on Péterhegyi út in the 11th District.
