Budapest authorities received more than 100 reports of damage and calls for help as a result of the intense hailstorm that struck the city late Tuesday afternoon. Spokesman Máté Kisdi said that in most cases disaster response personnel had to provide assistance because of flooded underpasses and cellars. Fire-fighters had to save a car from one metre of water on Péterhegyi út in the 11th District.
