Budapest’s Central European University (CEU) will not close down under any circumstances and the institution will do everything it can to make sure that it can continue its operations in Budapest, CEU’s rector said at an event discussing the future of the university, in Brussels on Tuesday.

Fire erupted in Pharmapark, the Budaörs facility of UPS Healthcare Tuesday morning. Attila Csámpai, spokesman for Pest county Disaster Control, said 5,000m2 of the 15,000m2 warehouse complex was destroyed.

Recirquel have already added nuance to this image with one of their productions, and now they go further as they weave the expressive means of contemporary circus into the story of two persons' life.

Thousands of people participated in the March of the Living commemorating the victims of the Holocaust in Budapest. The event held for the fifteenth time began at the “Shoes on the riverbank” memorial honouring the memory of Holocaust victims killed on the banks of the Danube, where participants placed stones, candles and flowers.
“We Will Not Be Silent!” Demonstration Draws Thousands Of Young Protesters

Budapest’s Szabadság (Freedom) square hosted a novel demonstration of sorts Saturday evening. Starting at 5:30 pm and lasting until 10 pm, the “We will not remain silent!” protest featured musical performances by a variety of musicians and DJs, as well as speeches by notable artists and activists. As many as 10,000 people mostly in their twenties and thirties attended.
