One woman was knocked unconscious and another was injured when lightning struck bathers at Vonyarcvashegy on Lake Balaton on Thursday. A beach employee said bathers were repeatedly warned to leave the water when a storm broke out, but refused to take heed. Lightning also struck a man in Martonvásár as he was cleaning the bed of a stream running through the municipality.
