The AMP Trio is one of the most radical ensembles on the Hungarian creative music scene, whose members – Péter Ajtai, Szilveszter Miklós, and Máté Pozsár – are also united by a close friendship.
Their two decades of collaboration at the intersection of jazz and contemporary music have not only shaped each other’s musical thinking but have also played a defining role in the development of the Hungarian improvisational music scene.
Throughout their career, they have collaborated with leading Hungarian and international players in creative music, and their experiences are organically integrated into the trio’s activity. Their work clearly reflects the evolution of Hungarian improvisational music over the past two decades.
