"Support for Jobbik rose significantly in the past two months, while that for Fidesz fell by a similar margin, according to a survey conducted last week by Szonda Ipsos.

Fidesz has 57% support among decided party voters, down from 63% in January, while that for Jobbik stands at 17%, up from 12%. Jobbik’s support is approaching that of the Socialists, which is unchanged at 20%.

Among other parties, only Politics Can Be Different (LMP) was close to the 5% parlia-mentary threshold at 3%, while the Democ-ratic Forum has 1%. Some 38% of respon-dents were undecided.

Fidesz has about 2.8 million supporters, the Socialists one million, and Jobbik 800,000, according to the pollsters. Half a mil-lion potential voters are undecided about supporting Fidesz or Jobbik.

Only 50% of those eligible say they will vote."
