Fidesz received Ft 232 million in contributions in 2009. The National Forum led by Democratic Forum founder and current Fidesz MP Sándor Lezsák contributed Ft 28 million. Fidesz MP Zsolt Nyitrai alone contributed Ft 2 million.

Fidesz had overall revenues of Ft 2.8 bil-lion, including Ft 1.3 billion in loans and Ft 833 million in state subsidies.

Half of the total spending went to pay off debts, yet the party closed 2009 with a slight surplus."
