The 100-Member Gipsy Orchestra, consisting of fantastic musicians and first class violinists, wishes to introduce their young gipsy talents and future successors on Margaret Island.

The orchestra, together with the Open-air Theatre, would like to support the young artists and kick off their international career. The highlight of the night is the return of one of the orchestra’s founders, Lajos Boross – ‘eternal chief-violinist’ – who takes the stage as head of the orchestra within the course of this anniversary concert.

Participating first violinists: Sándor Rigó Buffó, József Csócsi Lendvai, László Berki, and András Suki

The young generation first violinists of the orchestra: Dávid Rigó, Dezső Salasovics, Norbert Salasovics, Attila Batyi, and Ferenc Lendvai Jr."
