The new approach prevailed at the House of the Year 2010 Architectural Prize. On World Architecture Day, this year on 4 October, the eco-passive house won the jury’s acknowledgement at the House of the Year 2010 Architectural Prize Contest in Budapest.
Bártfai-Szabó Gábor and Bártfai-Szabó Orsolya, the two architects receiving the Prize for 2010 at the Headquarters of the Association of Hungarian Architects used to a great extent cast-off construction materials and diverse equipments operating with renewable energy in their eco-passive family house in Budakeszi.
