EU Experts To Arrive To Hungary This Morning
"Five EU experts will arrive in Hungary today to offer assistance in limiting environmental damage caused by the toxic sludge, it was announced in Brussels on Sunday.

The experts will come from France, Belgium, Sweden, Austria and Germany. A liaison officer from the European Commission arrived in Hungary on Saturday.

The Hungarian cabinet appealed for help from the EU Thursday evening, three days after the spill.

Hungary may receive funds from the EU’s solidarity fund if a natural disaster occurs or if the damage reaches 0.6% of GDP. In Hungary, this would be Ft 160 billion, Magyar Hírlap writes."
