1590 Hungarian Bible Sells For Ft 1.8mn At Auction
"A copy of the Vizsoly Bible, the first complete Hungarian bible, was sold at the starting price of Ft 1.8 million in a Budapest auction on Saturday.

Only three complete copies of the Vizsoly edition of 1590 are to be found in public libraries, and no more than two or three others are in private hands.

The Vizsoly Bible is considered a milestone in Hungarian printing and national church history."
