Budapest Mayor Tarlos: Show Me The Money, Matolcsy
"Budapest mayor Istvan Tarlos communicated his incredulity to Economy Minister Gyorgy Matolcsy as to why Budapest transport company BKV has still not received its Ft 12.5 billion state subsidy, on an MTV talk show last week.

MTI later noted, referring to the latest issue of the official Magyar Kozlony, that the cabinet had reassigned Ft 7.5 billion from general budget reserves and that the state has underwritten a Ft 5 billion loan for the BKV. City Hall said it has seen the gazette, and now it wants to see the cash in the bank account.

Meanwhile Tarlos attended the release of his second book entitled My Home – Budapest at the Gellert Hotel on Wednesday.

In the book Tarlos reveals that he considers 19th century Hungarian politician Ferenc Deak and the two Kennedy brothers to be the best politicians ever and expresses his love for Budapest, Krakow, Rome and Florence.

He finds Demi Moore the most attractive actress and says the best football players of all time are Pele, Franz Beckenbauer and Ferenc Puskas."
