"Three days in Gyula, between 10-12 December, honey is in the limelight: cosmetics, nectars, contests upon honey, taste and beauty competitions of honey cakes. Here even Jack and Jill would be astonished!

For a whole weekend, Gyula turns into the honey capital of Hungary as the numerous spots around the city offer colorful, sweet and tasty programs for the visitors. Apiary exhibition and market, diverse food-stands, handicraft programs, advent market, torch procession, Luca-day amusements and a spectacular gala are all part of an unforgettable festival in this small city near the Eastern border.
