"Paintings and drawings will be exhibited at the now traditional, end-of-year showcase of students from the 9th District of Budapest. For the teachers preparing the students, i.e. the fine and applied artists teaching in Ferencváros, the most important thing is to introduce the students to a new way of self-expression.
They achieve this by teaching them the application of various materials and new techniques, thereby creating a foundation, from where these children can set off to become able to create works of art that are truly without boundaries.
Artistic education is not just about the development of drawing skills and manual activities; it is equally important to awaken their self-understanding, to create positive self-awareness and in the end to allow these children to realise what they are capable of.” - Angéla Vincze, painter, art teacher"
