"Slovaks can save 20% in euro terms if they buy food in Hungary, due to the weakening of the forint, according to analysts. This could bring in an additional Ft 100 billion to the Hungarian retail sector, said Retail Association president György Vámos.
“This could mean 1% of all retail trade in Hungary.” Vámos added.
Slovak shoppers might travel as far as the shopping centres located near motorways around Budapest, especially on Slovak holidays, Napi Gazdaság observes."
