Few Registering At Business Chambers In Hungary
- 9 Feb 2012 8:03 AM
"Only 12,000 out of an estimated 600,000 companies have registered with business chambers, although membership became compulsory from January 1 and the deadline for registration is the end of February.
The Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MKIK) is offering online registration from yesterday.
If not paid, the annual Ft 5,000 membership fee can be collected as a tax. If companies do not join the MKIK, then the MKIK may move to deprive the business of its tax number. Payments must be made by the end of March."
