Tax Compensation To Cost Hungarian State Ft 22bn
"State-owned companies will have to pay a total of Ft 22 billion to 80,000 employees in order to maintain the net value of wages that have been reduced due to the flat tax, the state asset manager MNV announced.

State companies will have to draw on their own resources for the compensation, but those which lack funding can turn to the MNV.

Employees with gross monthly wages of less than Ft 216,806 have seen their net wages decline since January 1 because of the flat tax."
