Hungarian Tax Authority NAV Issues List Of Tax Dodgers
The tax authority NAV has released a list of those companies and individuals with the highest outstanding tax bills. Individuals must owe at least Ft 10 million and companies Ft 100 million to make it on to the list, which contains some well-known public figures.

József Stadler, owner of the Akasztó stadium, TV celebrity Győző Gáspár and pop singer Györgyi Láng are on the list.

The individuals on the list owe a total of Ft 32 billion in taxes, Napi Gazdaság estimates.

More than 1,500 companies have payments overdue by at least 180 days. Among them are Elcoteq Network, ElectroWorld, Malév, Ganz factories, salami maker Herz, Ikarus Holding and HospInvest.
