Molson Coors Buys Hungarian Borsodi Brand

"US-Canadian company Molson Coors is buying East European brewer StarBev for €2.7 billion, it was announced yesterday. StarBev operates breweries in nine East European countries, including Hungary’s Borsodi Sörgyár.
The purchase may be completed in the second quarter after EU competition authorities approve the deal.
StarBev will be an independent unit within Molson Coors, with headquarters in Prague.
Global firm AB InBev sold StarBev, maker of Staropramen beer, to its management and private equity firm CVC in 2009."
