Afrojack Is Coming To Hungary's Balaton Sound Festival
Heineken Balaton Sound proudly confirms Afrojack for Day 0 of the event. Besides the gig of the electro-house maestro there will also be other quality acts playing the same day, including the already announced show of Hungarian all-star Akos and another new addition to the program, Dutch house DJ-producer Apster. There are also cool new acts confirmed for the regular Sound days, including Booka Shade, Dizzee Rascal, Mouse on Mars and MiniCoolBoyz.

As we all know by now, this year’s lakeside party is a day longer, starting already on 11 July and featuring a special show of Hungarian pop idol Akos on main stage. The organizing team wanted to make sure that fans have a great choice of acts even on the warm-up day, so Afrojack is giving a huge gig at the Arena the same night.

The multiple Grammy-winner e-musician from The Netherlands produced some of the biggest and trendiest house anthems of our days, so a great set is guaranteed. And let’s not forget about Apster, a Dutch DJ-producer introduced by Wall Recordings (Afrojack’s label), also promising a great live set to warm up the crowd. Tickets for Day 0 are available for 30 EUR, normal festival passes don’t include this day, but can be upgraded for 15 EUR.

There are also some great new additions to the program of the event’s regular days. The updated list of this year’s performers includes Booka Shade, a legendary German techno-pop crew, featuring Arno Kammermeier and Walter Merziger. British hip-hop act Dizzee Rascal will also join the event, known for his mega-fast style and 4 released albums, all of them reaching gold or platinum status.

The Zamárdi event will welcome Andi Toma and Jan St. Werner a.k.a. Mouse on Mars, supplying glitch and IDM fans with great productions for almost 20 years now. And last but surely not least, Italian MiniCoolBoyz are also confirmed for this year, providing the newest range of progressive tech house.
