Final Main Stage ‘Missing Headliner’ for Sziget Fest in Budapest Announced
Joining the already confirmed top-tier acts — Zara Larsson, Sombr, Twenty One Pilots, Lewis Capaldi, Florence + the Machine, Skepta, Bring Me the Horizon and Jorja Smith — the festival has now revealed the headline act for its closing day. On 15 August, Skrillex, one of the most influential figures in global club and festival culture, will take to the stage on the so-called “Island of Freedom”.

Skrillex is widely regarded as a pioneer of modern electronic music, helping to push dubstep into the mainstream with his heavy basslines and high-energy sound, while redefining what a live electronic performance can be.

Known for constantly experimenting and crossing genre boundaries, he has also become one of the most decorated artists in the scene in terms of Grammy Awards. He regularly headlines arenas and major festivals around the world.

His last appearance at Sziget in 2024 drew a huge crowd to the Main Stage and set a new attendance record for the day.

In spring 2025, he released his fourth studio album, Fck U Skrillex You Think Ur Andy Warhol but Ur Not!! <3*, a high-energy, creatively charged project that captures his signature sound while showcasing his versatility across genres.

Earlier this year, he also surprised fans with the release of an ambient EP titled Kora.

In 2026, Skrillex is playing only a limited number of European festivals, but Sziget remains firmly on his schedule. Based on past performances, audiences can expect an intense and unpredictable set to close the festival.
