It was a great pleasure that 64 years after the last Olympic Games held in London, members of the 1948 Hungarian team were also present.

In his speech Jonathan Knott expressed his very best wishes to the Hungarian athletes and he thanked the official sponsors of the teams for committing themselves to Hungarian sports excellence. He said "I wish the Hungarian teams Good Luck for the London Games. I will be following your successes on television and I will be celebrating with all Hungarians!"
