NAV On-Site Audit At Chinese Network Developer ZTE In Hungary

The tax authority NAV carried out an on-site audit on Wednesday at the offices of Chinese network developer ZTE, which rents office space in the building of Telenor in Törökbálint, near Budapest, Havariapress reported.
ZTE was investigated earlier by the Immigration Office searching for Chinese citizens working illegally.
Chinese competitor Huawei may be behind the on-site inspection, trying to disqualify ZTE from the network development tender to be announced by state mobile service company MPVI Mobil within weeks, Magyar Nemzet noted.
