Gay Teacher Wins Discrimination Case In Hungary

The court found that the two-year contract demanded by the plaintiff’s employer in 2005 was illegal, as only open-ended contracts with public servants are allowed.
The head of the school arbitrarily amended the contract in 2006 then termintated the working relationship
Regarding financial compensation, the plaintiff said he will turn to the Constitutional Court and the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, as the Kúria referred his demands for compenstaion to the same Pest county court that earlier ruled against his plea.
