"Mateu’s art stimulate our memory and sensibility through its critical and conceptual poetics. Rich in references of the daily urban experience, his work denotes the persistent need of the city’ s humanization. Layering illustrative signs taken from contemplative elements of the real world: stamps, lettering, manuscripts, drops, clouds, flowers, the outcome of his work is a collection of memory fragments with vibrant-colored brushstrokes, awakening our reflection and acknowledging its subtle condition.

The crossing of the street art graphical language with the world of commercial publicity has resulted in an enormous growth in graphic design and the urban-inspired fashion. This has allowed the inclusion of the artistic quality in Mateu’ s trace in the visual repertoire of many work areas: patterns, panels and shop windows, in the editorial segment (magazines, book covers, etc.)".

A concept shop, gallery, silkscreen studio and a café comprise this unique space in the center of Budapest. The shop offers selected design everyday-use items, clothing, eco-friendly accessories and home furnishings with an emphasis on printed and also recycled objects, mostly from local independent labels. Great place for one of a kind gift.

The gallery is dedicated to presenting contemporary serigraphs, drawings, graphics and urban art from upcoming Hungarian and international artists.

The water-base silkscreen studio is equipped to produce high quality and handmade prints on textile and paper. We also offer workshops and studio rental access for artists and graphic designers.

The Café is serving artisanal espresso and filter coffee from the acclaimed Has Bean roaster.
