A member of the Fidesz executive who spoke on condition of anonymity, told Népszabadság on Wednesday that Bayer is not a racist, but a “clown” with an inferiority complex and who causes much harm to Fidesz in general and to Prime Minister Viktor Orbán in particular, with his lack of consideration and unacceptable, outlandish statements. He is on the verge of being expelled from the party, the source added.

Other Fidesz politicians said it would be wise for Bayer to voluntarily quit the party, as he massively exposes the cabinet and Orbán to criticism.
