Budapest Amusement Park Faces Final Season

The Amusement Park in the City Park will re-open on March 15 for its last season, due to run until September 30. The park is to be closed and the space given over to the expansion of the adjacent zoo, with staple rides such as the antique carousel and roller coaster remaining.
The zoo will be expanded by 2016 at a cost of Ft 12-15 billion. No feasibility study has been made for a new amusement park.
