Construction Materials Centre Opens In Budapest
Thirteen construction material makers have joined forces to create a knowledge centre in Budapest. The 600m2 showroom and innovation centre, named C3 Atelier, was built in six months from a Ft 100 million investment. Similar facilities operate in Vienna and Paris, website epiteszforum.hu observed.

Visitors can learn about the latest usage of cement and concrete, including the work of Aron Losonczi, the inventor of transparent concrete, Holcim Magyarorszag CEO Otto Magera told the opening ceremony.

Innovation in the construction materials market is important and Switzerland is striving to be a leader in that, that is why it has joined the knowledge centre, said ambassador Jean-Francois Paroz.
